PC Repairs
BCS has a team of engineers who repair, service, maintain and resolve any computer issues you may be experiencing with your system. Depending upon the issue this can either be rectified here or on-site.
Hourly Labour Charges: Ex. VAT Inc. VAT In house £25.00 £29.38 On-Site £30.00 £35.25 On-Site networking £40.00 £47.00All repairs booked into our workshop carry a minimum charge of £15+VAT, on site are £30 or £40 resepctively. After the first hour the rate is calculated on a 1/4hr basis. Travelling is charged at £30 per hour with a 15 minute allowance each way.
PC Hardware/Software Upgrades
BCS offers expert advice on suitable upgrades for your current PC. If an upgrade is not possible or cost effetive then advice on a new PC/laptop or software solution will be provided to suit your needs.
Cabling
BCS can cable for most situations using CAT5, Fibre Optic and Wireless. Please call or visit our showroom to discuss a solution for your specific situation.
VPN Setup
BCS can setup a VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection allowing you to gain access to home or business resources, such as Word documents, printer and other devices you may need on a remote computer or network.
Wifi Setup
BCS can come to your home or business to setup a wireless connection therefore removing the stress of installing it yourself. BCS can step in and install any devices you have purchased such has wireless access points, wireless routers, etc. BCS will also configure your wireless laptops, PC's and other wireless devices around your home or office environment.
Whiteboard and Projectors
BCS can setup whiteboards and projectors for any purpose. For example a school classroom. These replace the existing blackboards and dry & wipe boards, providing a flexabile tool for students.
Server and Network Installations
We can accommodate for all sorts of scenarios, from basic peer-to-peer networks in the home. Home network with router, switches and wifi connections to business solution with server-to-client setup. Businesses with larger networks, which require multiple router/switches with reliable fast connections.
Data Backup and Data Transfer
BCS can backup your data to another media such as DVD's or another hard drive for safe keeping. We also give advise on suitable backup methods to suit all needs and purposes. BCS can also provide this solution, call or see in-store for details.
Virus, Spyware and Software Corruption
BCS uses various software tools to remove Viruses, Spyware, Adware and correct software corruptions. In some cases your computer system may be beyond the point of no return in which case a full software re-installation is required. BCS will put your system back to a working state by backing up your important data and re-installing your operating system and software that you provide to us. Our current charges for systems booked into the workshop needing a wipe and reinstall are £65 + VAT for non-BCS PC/laptops and £50 + VAT for BCS systems. This includes block copy of your data to a folder called 'oldhdd' and your 'My Documents' and 'Favorites' are put in the respective folders. Anything else is subject to further charges at our hourly rate. These rates are subject to change, please call for current prices.
As part of our policy we backup your data during this process and keep your data for two weeks.
